AI Usage Policy

Scope

This policy covers prompts, uploads, generated videos, audio, images, and other content processed through Shortmade. It supplements our Terms of Service.

Prohibited content

You may not request, create, upload, or distribute:

Sexual or NSFW content: pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
Violence or graphic content: glorification or graphic depictions of extreme violence, torture, gore, or instructions to cause physical harm.
Hateful content: attacks, dehumanization, discrimination, or violence against protected groups.
Child sexual abuse material or unsafe child content: sexualization, exploitation, grooming, or abuse involving minors.
Deepfakes and impersonation: deceptive synthetic media impersonating a real person or falsely suggesting endorsement without authorization and disclosure.
Copyright or trademark infringement: unlawful copying, distribution, or misuse of protected works, brands, likenesses, or identities.

Enforcement

Automated and human review may block a generation, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, revoke unused Credits, and cooperate with lawful requests. Records may be preserved for safety, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal compliance.

Reporting

Report violations, abusive content, copyright concerns, or impersonation at support@shortmade.com. Include the project or generation link and a description. Do not attach illegal material; provide a description and link instead.

Content moderation

Shortmade applies safety checks to prompts and generated content and may use provider moderation systems. Checks are not perfect; flagged content may receive human review after a report or signal. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and following applicable law.
